Naughty Skunk

Holidays always fly by! I feel like I blinked and Halloween was over.

Sandra Dee was a blast, but I think we had more fun with our Pepe le Pew skunk costumes, complete with a bouquet of homemade flowers. They were hilarious to make and wear, and they were so comfortable and warm while taking on Madison. I also determined that if I were to own a bar or brew my own beer, I would call it the Naughty Skunk.

Since my camera broke over the summer I've been terrible with getting nice photos, but here is a pic of Michael and I dancing before we hit the town as skunks. Careful, we might spray.

Halloween. oh, what a wonderful holiday.

I don't remember ever being more excited about Halloween than I am now! Usually I'm scrambling to find a costume and this year, THIS YEAR! is different. While we were in San Diego in August, M and I were watching Grease and after seeing this, I just knew.

How hott is Olivia Newton John!? Hott, with two T's.

So I will do my best to mirror her sass in this portion of the movie, while still maintaining her natural grace and elegance.

(...how does she do that?!)

No one can do her justice, but I am SO excited to try.

And who doesn't love an excuse for bright red lips and huge curly hair, not to mention the leather and heels. It's sexy without being trashy, and I don't have to worry about freezing my butt off in wonderful Wisconsin.

Tell me about it, stud.

Spooktacular!

It was one of those weekends that just screamed fall. Cold and rainy with spooky haze that's perfect for October.

I'm thankful for the crisp, sunny day's we've been having, but it was difficult to get in the scary Halloween mood with such beautiful weather! I was craving a lazy weekend in front of the fire place, elbow deep in a pumpkin and a haunted house to follow.

It's been years since I've carved a pumpkin! So in between naps and watching football our pumpkin hunt began.

Needless to say I was beyond excited. Michael lovingly obliged.

So here are our masterpieces, complete with our sleepy faces and fall-cozy attire.
